The Provost Powers Emergency Grant

Help enrolled students who are struggling financially. Funds help meet critical, immediate needs that are likely to have a direct impact on the student’s academic success and/or ability to remain enrolled at WP. On November 7, 2025, a group of alumni, faculty, staff, and students will hike the trails of High Mountain Park with Provost Powers in an event that raises funds for the grant and marks a soft launch of our Giving Day.

The Provost Powers Emergency Grant was created by Provost Joshua B. Powers in 2021. He will match every gift dollar-for-dollar up to $100 per donor. Total matching funds may not exceed $5,000.
